Programme Coordinator, Know Your Body Know Your Rights (SRHR-J)

Key Responsibilities:
A. Programme Coordination, Development, Implementation and Evaluation
● Timely implementation of programmatic activities in and on ground work in collaboration with partners, community members and leaders, etc.
● Organizing workshops, meetings, consultations and community events as per the programme needs, budget and timeline including designing and leading the sessions.
● Coordinate, monitor or support the activities of assigned participants/partners.
● Schedule and implement activities in accordance with specifications and funding limitations.
● Monitor expenditures undertaken during implementation, ensuring that budget allocations are adhered to of the activities assigned to you.
● Regular documentation of the planning of activities, followed by reporting for both internal and external due diligence purposes.
● Making sure conflict, and or issues raised by the community are dealt with through channels based on protocol.

B. Communications and Networking:
● Working with communications teams to ensure visibility of key programme highlights and achievements including inputs and designing of documents.
● Documenting and making requisite information and reflections available to support ongoing communication and work based on programmes
● Ensuring data compilation for internal quarterly reports and other organizational database trackers.
● Represent the organization in key networks and ensure cross programmatic sharing and work.

C. Due Diligence, Monitoring and Evaluation:
● Working with the programme officers/supervisor to implement the programme’s Monitoring & Evaluation framework.
● Data collection and collation to support programmatic learning and development as per emerging trends.
● Support the programme team in writing and compiling due diligence reports and
● periodic updates for other staff, senior management and the organization’s board.
● Participate in organizational processes and policy implementation with support of other employees and leadership
● Provide regular feedback and ideas for effective organizational flow both programmatically as well as operationally
● Create a database of partners, programme participants and youth leaders including preparing and reviewing their journey maps and providing due documentation needed for their association with the organization

Eligibility Criteria
● Graduate degree from a recognised University in any field.
● 3-5 years of prior experience working with young people in capacity-building programmes on SRHR and Gender that engage young people and adolescents
● Language(s): High level of proficiency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge and functional proficiency in any other regional language including Assamese, Hindi and Malayalam will be given preference.
● Proficiency in using web-based and MS Office applications for key communication, documentation and institutional and programmatic processes.
● Experienced in written documentation and writing reports, case studies, stories of change, media briefs and creating and editing program-based content.
● Experience of networking with government bodies, partners, grant makers and civil society organisations, and a wide range of companies, partners and donors at local, national and international levels.

● Prior knowledge and experience of community-based programming especially on thematic issues closely related to gender and sexuality, abortion rights and youth led action.
