Programme Associate, Loud and Queer

Loud and Queer

Key Responsibilities: 

Programme Implementation
● Assist the Programme Officer/Coordinator in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Loud and Queer Programme by delivering assigned activities, tasks, and responsibilities.
● Execute on-ground programme activities, workshops, events, and campaigns in alignment with programme objectives.
● Supervise partner organizations, volunteers, facilitators, and participants involved in various aspects of programme implementation.

Financial Management
● Manage expenses and handle bookings for programme-related activities as assigned by the Programme Officer. 

 

● Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of financial records in line with organizational policies.

Documentation and Reporting
● Document the processes, outcomes, and learnings of programme activities and submit reports on time.
● Maintain detailed records of field activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Organizational Development

 

● Actively participate in organizational development activities to strengthen internal systems and processes.
● Contribute ideas and feedback to improve programme delivery and organizational impact.

Representation
● Represent the values and identity of the organization on external platforms and forums.
● Engage with stakeholders, including community members, partners, and external collaborators, to build trust and promote the Loud and Queer Programme’s objectives.

Eligibility Criteria
● Graduate from a recognized university in any field
● 0-3 years of total prior experience working on communications, campaigns and engaging with external stakeholders, on thematics relating to gender, sexuality, masculinities, violence, SRHR
● Ability to multi-task and manage partnerships
● High level of proficiency in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
● Proficiency in using web-based and MS Office applications for key communication, documentation and institutional and programmatic processes.

 

● Experienced in written documentation and writing reports, case studies, stories of change, media briefs and creating and editing programme-based content
