Rhea has extensive experience in advocating for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights across the South Asia Region. She has a certificate in Human Rights from the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University and holds an Undergraduate degree in Biology from Reed College.
At TYPF, Rhea coordinates the Udaan project in Rajasthan, which uses youth-centric and youth-led approaches to improve the knowledge, attitudes and practices of adolescents towards their sexual and reproductive health and rights. Her work also focuses on advocacy to improve the on-ground implementation of the National Adolescent Health Program (RKSK).
Prior to joining TYPF, Rhea coordinated the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights project in Humanitarian Settings at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, South Asia Region.
