Ali’s work is principally aimed at addressing the issue of social exclusion. He graduated in Social Work from IGNOU, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in the same field. He comes with experience in using theatre as a medium for social change.

At TYPF, He works in Nizamuddin to implement the Blending Spectrum programme. The programme provides life skills education and builds the leadership skills of adolescents and young people in the community. Along with this, he also works on building meaningful youth participation in TYPF’s programmes.

Before joining TYPF, he worked with the Aga Khan Trust and Taleem in the Nizamuddin Basti area. He moved to PRAVAH in 2014, where he trained as a facilitator. Following this, he joined Commutiny - The Youth Collective where he became part of the National Campaign called "Bas! Stop Discrimination Right Now". He also worked with the Diksha Foundation in the Kusumpur Pahari slum community in New Delhi.
