Reena Khatoon | Programme Manager, Digital Media & SRHR
Reena is a human rights activist with extensive experience in working with Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Comprehensive Sexuality Education, gender, governance, and building leadership among young people to advocate for their rights. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Law and has done her Master’s in Criminal Law. She has also led advocacy programmes with communities, government officials and policy makers towards developing rights based approaches in addressing young people’s issues.
Reena has led a range of different programmes across her tenure at TYPF and is currently leading The Butterfly Project programme. Through this programme, she works to enable adolescents and young women in Delhi and Rajasthan to access digital media to advocate for gender equality, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, and combat forced marriage in their communities.
Prior to joining TYPF, Reena worked with various organisations including SAHAYOG, AALI, WHO, Urban Health Resource Centre, PCI, and the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
