National Advocacy Training- Applications Now Open!

The National Advocacy Training is a four-day residential training that will be conducted from 22nd to 25th July 2019 in New Delhi with a group of 30 young people from across the country. It has been designed with the purpose of developing participants’ understanding and perspectives on:

1. Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Advocacy

2. United Nations Human Rights Mechanisms: Treaty Monitoring Bodies, Human Rights Council, Universal Periodic Review, and Special Procedures

3. Linking global and national level accountability mechanisms to advance SRHR (including LGBTQIA+ rights)

Note: Participants' travel expenses (3rd AC train fare or equivalent) will be reimbursed and accommodation and food will be provided by The YP Foundation for the duration of the training.


We would like to invite applications from young people from diverse backgrounds who:

a. Are between 18 to 35 years (as on 01/07/2019).

b. Have at least 2 years of relevant advocacy experience (For example: Youth-led advocacy, SRHR advocacy, Human Rights
