Rhea coordinates the Udaan project in Rajasthan, one that uses youth-centric and youth-led approaches to improve the knowledge, attitudes and practices of adolescents towards their sexual and reproductive health and rights. Her work also focuses on advocacy to improve the on-ground implementation of RKSK, especially the Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics, Adolescent Health Days and Peer Education components. Prior to joining TYPF, Rhea coordinated the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights project in Humanitarian Settings at the International Planned Parenthood Federation (South Asia Region). Rhea has a certificate in Human Rights from the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University and graduated with a degree in Biology from Reed College.
